To ward off negative forces, ensure the smooth flow of positive events, and for dosha removal, we traditionally perform homams (sacred fire rituals).

For the attainment of good outcomes and success in endeavors, many poojas, pariharas, and dosha nivaranas are performed.
However, the true purpose of performing poojas and homams is to receive the grace of the Pancha Bhoothas (five elements) and the blessings of the Divine.

Performing homams once every six months or once a year brings great benefits to family life.
Through homams, one can overcome sorrows, hardships, evil eye effects, and mental distress, and attain a prosperous and harmonious life.

In most homes, the commonly performed homam is Ganapathi Homam, while other homams are usually conducted only in temples.

Among all homams, the three most powerful and significant are:

• Ganapathi Homam

• Navagraha Homam

• Shatru Samhara Homam

However, the Panchagavya Lamp offers benefits equivalent to performing a homam at home.

When a Panchagavya lamp is lit in the house, the fragrance of the smoke emitted is comparable to that of a homam.
The smoke spreads throughout the home, driving away negative energies and enhancing financial flow and prosperity.

Composition of the Panchagavya Lamp

The Panchagavya lamp is made using the five sacred substances derived from the cow:

• Milk

• Ghee

• Cow urine

• Curd

• Cow dung

along with select medicinal herbs.

According to tradition, it is believed that thirty-three crore deities reside within the cow, and that Goddess Mahalakshmi dwells especially in milk, ghee, and curd.
